Okay. I know. I promised an update on the patio project today… but then I realized that today is supposed to be our Round-Up day! Oops! Patio progress next week! Cross my heart and hope for pie!
Anyway. June. Busy month for us here in the Midwest, mostly enjoying some sunshine and yard work. But man, I can’t believe that next week is already July! Slow down, time!
Most Fancy: Our big night out on the town to see Wicked for the first time! We had really awesome seats and the show was so fantastic! We’re still quoting Glinda (with a “guh”) here at our house! It’s definitely one that I would go back and see a hundred more times!
Most Summery: These cute little flowers I stumbled upon during my walk in the park over a lunch break on the first “official” day of summer! (When did that happen?!?) We’re certainly glad it’s here though- that means vacation is only a month away!!!
Most missed: Baby brother. Hands down. He’s off in Texas, learning to be a soldier, and I for one, can’t wait until he comes home! Miss you little bro!
Most Hard-Working: My wonder Husband and Father (not pictured…)! Braving the heat of summer to work on our patio! You guys are awesome! And Dad, thanks for all the hard work you put in, we really couldn’t have done it without you!
Most Romantic: Josh, of course! He surprised me with an impromptu lunch date, complete with a red rose! And a new sander… Am I lucky gal or what?! How lovely! And P.S. Saturday we will have been married for SIX WHOLE MONTHS! Yay! Ahh, married life, isn’t it grand!?
